The West Bengal Trinamool Primary Teachers’ Association Nadia district on Tuesday started a program from the backward village of Sardanga in Bamanpukur. “Extreme teachers around the world are at home today.” With this slogan in mind, this is the first time that teachers have reached Nadia to educate students from house to house. Students who do not have a smartphone or TV at home will be identified and will reach their homes in this way.
In the meantime, Portal or various electronic media or masterminds are continuing to educate children online through Facebook pages. But the families of the students who are economically backward are deprived of this opportunity. Jayant Saha, president of Nadia, West Bengal Trinamool Primary Teachers’ Association, said that this program is for their benefit.
He said the teachers would reach the entire Nadia district in small groups and reach the homes of the primary level students. In addition to studying with the youngsters throughout the day, there will be sports, cultural exercises, collaboration in character building through short stories, and at the same time having lunch with the students and their families. He said that this will further strengthen the relationship between students, teachers, and parents.
